As we travelled closer to the coast, we started to find fresh seafood. I almost ordered bull's tail for lunch at a cozy sidewalk cafe in Seville. However, I decided to try fresh fish. This plate of fried catfish, sardines and calamari was delicious! The fish were fried whole with the heads on. See if you can tell which fish is the catfish. |

Fuengirola - Costa del Sol

There was a McDonalds in Fuengirola, however, I again chose to eat fresh seafood while I was there. We tried a couple of beachside restaurants, but this one was my favorite. They grilled the fish on skewers over an open wood fire - inside an old wooden boat! It was really good and really fresh. And check out the background view in the first photo. The mountains, the blue sky, and the blue sea. It was so beautiful. |
