Pans & Company

In Granada I happened upon a Spanish fast food restaurant named Pans & Company. They have a large choice of salads, sandwiches and side orders. I tried a Mediterraneo Baguette with tuna, red peppers and olives. The tuna was served in moist chunks without mayonnaise mixed in like we do with tuna salad. It was really good and really filling. The sandwich pictured here is the Cantabro. I've also included their menu in case you wish to decide what you want before you get there. |

Vinegar and Oil

Vinegar and olive oil is the salad dressing found everywhere throughout Spain. And since Spain produces olive oil, the olive oil is fresh and flavorful.
They even have individual vinegar and oil packets - I found these in the cafe line at the Prado Museum. |

Vinegar and oil is served everywhere in glass flasks (see photo). I looked all over for some just like them and finally found them in a housewares shop in Granada. |
