El Parque del Buen Retiro - Retiro Park

| Retiro Park was built for Spanish nobility in the 17th century. There are wonderful gardens, fountains, statues, a monument to Alfonso XII and rowboating. You can have your fortune told by Gypsies - but remember they expect to be paid for this. Someone in our group didn't know to pay - and the Gypsy put a curse on her. |
